Hada Labo Arbutin Whitening Lotion

Recently, I started to use a new toner and I'm loving it! Sharing with you girls now! :)

I think most of you should have heard about Hada Labo, the number 1 face lotion in Japan, which is also much loved by Singaporean women! I have tried the Super Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Lotion in white before and this time round, I'm trying the blue one - Arbutin Whitening Lotion.

Hada Labo Arbutin Whitening Lotion contains three main ingredients - Arbutin, Vitamin C and Hyaluronic Acid - allowing us to gain fairer, moist and bright skin. Arbutin contains effective whitening properties to enhance skin fairness, fight dark spots and renewing dull skin to reveal clearer and fairer skin. Vitamin C enhances the skin's fairness and repairs dry and dull skin caused by UV exposure. Hyaluronic Acid to lock in moisture and for the skin to reach its optimal radiance and translucence.

If you don't know, lotion = toner in japanese terms. Hada Labo's lotions prepares skin for better absorption of other skin care products and make skin smoother and more moisturized. We're supposed to use this lotion right after cleansing our face!

This lotion is slightly milky and very fluid! You can't really tell that its milky from my photo, I've been spamming loads of lotion on my palms trying to capture the milkiness. Its as fluid as water, much much thinner than the regular Super Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Lotion which is quite sticky. I kind of this this fluidity as its easily absorbed by my face and leaves a minimally sticky feeling after application unlike the regular one.

We're encouraged to drip a few drops of lotion onto our palms and pat lightly on our face for better absorption than to use a cotton pad. I tend to use like 4-5 drops of this lotion, either because my face is too big or it gets absorbed too quickly! This bottle is quite big and it will last me a long time even if I were to use 5 drops each time and twice a day!

After religiously using it the past week, my skin has become brighter and less dull! I also felt that my pimple scars are less obvious than before.. Moisturising wise, its just right, my skin is supple and not too dry now. This thinner and less sticky formula is especially suitable for people with oily skin like me as the formula is easily absorbed and leaves a much lesser sticky feeling than the regular white one. Super like it!

I also noticed something that wasn't promised by Hada Labo - the pores on my nose are visibly smaller by a lot! I'm a lazy girl so I'm only using this lotion currently, it must be this lotion that shrank my pores! (This product is not marketed for shrinking pores, I don't know if it'll have the same effect on you.)

Super glad that Hada Labo sent me this to try out. Will repurchase it when my current bottle finishes! :)
