Concetto by Saveur

I love pasta, and got attracted to Concetto at The Cathay when I walked past and see people having pasta hehe.

Service was good, price is okay, food is okay, but portion is small. Still, worth the try I guess! They have quite a wide variety of pasta types that you won't be able to try at other stores, yes even pastamania!

We ordered Bolognese and Prawn Aglio!

Bolognese ($11.90)


pappardelle, ragu bolognese served with three sauces

This dish, unlike bolognese served in other shops, has a more meaty base than tomato base. Quite a refreshing taste in contrast to the tomato-ey types. The pasta type used is hollow at the center, not our usual spaghetti. (The pasta is a little too hard for me though)

Prawn Aglio ($10.90)


tagliatelle, tiger prawn & sakura ebi

My prawn aglio olio is pretty basic, and I asked for spaghetti instead of linguine. What I don't like is that the dish is bitter, I guess due to the garlic being overcooked. Luckily the sakura ebi can cover up quite a bit of the bitter taste.
